NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD

It is true, nothing is impossible with God. There is however, one thing that God cannot do; He cannot lie! There, now that THAT is out of the way, you need to find promises in God's word (Bible) and believe them. One scripture that I like is; my God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We all have needs, wants, desires, hopes, plans, etc. Finding God's plan for you is the best thing you can do in your life (as long as you follow after it). So many people are so busy "doing things for the Lord" that they haven't taken time to find out if that is what He would have them to do. They try to "fake it 'til they make it." They get burned out doing the "Lord's will" and they have no pleasure in doing these things and think it is just their "lot in life" and hope when they get to heaven then they will at least be rewarded. Take the time to find out what God would have especially for to do in the kingdom. Do you like to write, sing, draw, paint, work on cars, do something with electronics, talk to people, help people , pray for people, garden, etc.? These sound like worldly things but the Lord can take things like this and use you in the Kingdom/church/ministry. You should have JOY in your serving the Lord or you can't go on because it says "The JOY of the Lord is your strength!" God can show you the way in every area of your life, whether it is your spiritual life, work, family, friends, financial, physical,etc. His desire is not that you would fail so He can teach you something but that you would succeed so that He can teach you something. Of course we all have failings and shortcomings which is why I say,Nothing is Impossible with God. Give those things to God and where you couldn't pull yourself through, He will. Where you couldn't see A way to go in some rough circumstances He is THE WAY and will show you the way to go. Maybe you are struggling with addictions and the thought of ever being without it seems so far fetched and unbelievable that you barely dare ask the Lord's help and you think after all you got yourself into this mess and it doesn't seem right to ask the Lord for help because before you got into this mess you remember hearing a still small voice that said don't do that or don't go there but you were weak or rebellious or you wanted to fit in and so you did it anyway and you have been paying for it ever since and you feel a little guilty because you blamed your addiction on the Lord because you believed He wanted to get "even" with you for disobeying Him. Now your eyes are open and you see that He loves you and has a plan for you that is just for you because you are uniquely and wonderfully made and God loves you and hasn't forgotten about you. He has been waiting all along while you have been doing things your way and messing things up. He has NEVER given up on you; He has been waiting for you to come to Him and let Him help you and witness His awesome majesty, beauty, glory, power, and love. When you believe there was no hope for you, God is there to turn it around. He wants to work on your behalf and help bring you to victory. All you have to do is take a step of faith and ask for His help. The Bible says that if we ask him for a loaf of bread; He won't give us a stone instead. Ask Him for wisdom to know what to do in your life because the word says that if we ask for wisdom He will give it freely to us. You can't beat a deal like that! Here is the big secret a lot of people don't know; God is on your side. Nothing is impossible with God. Therefore, ALL things are possible with God. BE BLESSED!

TAKE IT TO THE LORD

So many times we have problems or we are going through something and we just don't know what to do but there is the One who created the heavens and the universe and also you and He knows exactly what to do. But your fear is that how will he tell you or how will you know? Other people seem to know when the Lord is speaking to them. Many people believe that the Lord speaks only through His Word (also known as the Bible) and not any other way but God is greater than that and He will speak to you in whatever way He chooses that will get to you. He desires to help you through whatever you need help with. Why not ask him for guidance in whatever task you take on even if you know or think you know the way. It is a good habit to ask the Lord for His input in everything you do. His ways are higher than our ways, He knows the beginning from the end. His will for you is to live a life of victory even in the storms of life. How can you live victorious when every thing is crashing down around you? Well, while things seem to be going from bad to worse take the time to pray AND praise him and see what He will do for you. While you are going through these things He will give you peace, joy, hope, love,and much more. So, remember, take it to the Lord from now on for a better life. Be Blessed!

God is the Answer to all of Your Needs

There is a Scripture that I have always liked. "But my God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." I believe it. The Lord has always taken care of me. It does says all of my NEEDS not all of my WANTS. Those are two different things. If you had everything that you ever wanted, you would probably be a spoiled brat and totally unmotivated. You really wouldn't be fulfilled at all. On the other side of the coin so to speak, some people think that "needs" means that God will just barely get you by...only the essentials in life. That isn't true either. God desires to bless His people but there are some things that we are required to do. No it isn't a catch. It is called the laws of reciprocity. It has to do with being a giver. The scripture says to give and it shall be given, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over...Even if your not saved, that is a law that is in effect, if you're a giver. If your motive gift is giving, you will always have a desire to give to people even if you are not saved. Motive gifts are a whole other post so I won't go into that right now. So if you are a Christian, you should be tithing on a regular basis. Tithe means 1/10 of your income. Did I hear a gulp from some of you? That is what you give to your church where you get fed the Word every week. If you are not getting "fed" then you should run not walk to a church where the word of God is preached unashamedly. If you have been getting spiritual baby food for many years, it might be hard to swallow the meat of the word at first, but hang in and receive what the Lord has for you. The whole purpose of my blog site is to talk about God's love for you. Know this, that He will bless you in many good ways. Some of us only think of finances, which is one but He will also give to you peace. PEACE...priceless! Rich people can't buy that commodity. You can go to bed at night and lay your head upon your pillow in peace. Does that mean you will never have anymore problems? Uh,no. BUT the Lord will see you through them and give you peace and hope while you do go through them. How does God do that? I really don't know, I just know that He does. Are you going through some situations and you don't know what to do? His word also says to ask him for wisdom and He will give it to you. Let's ask for that daily and see how our lives improve! Remember that He loves you and will help you, just reach out to him and ask. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. BE Blessed!

GOD IS AMAZING!

MOST PEOPLE DON'T REALIZE JUST HOW AMAZING GOD IS AND I AM NO EXCEPTION. WE MUST CONTINUALLY REMIND OURSELVES OF THE GREATNESS AND AWESOMENESS OF GOD. WHY DO WE FORGET THE MIGHTY THINGS HE HAS DOME? WELL, WE HEAR AND SEE ON THE NEWS SO MANY BAD THINGS THAT THAT IS WHAT WE FOCUS ON. IF WE READ HIS WORD DAILY, THEN WE WILL FOCUS MORE ON HIS GOODNESS AND SEE THROUGH OUR SPIRITUAL EYES THE WONDERFUL THINGS HE HAS DONE FOR US. SOME PEOPLE WANT GOD TO POINT THIS OUT TO THEM BECAUSE THEY FIND IT SO DIFFICULT TO SEE THE LORD'S HAND IN THEIR LIVES. MAYBE HE WANTS YOU TO TAKE A CHALLENGE AND LOOK FOR THEM YOURSELF. MANY TIMES AS I HAVE PASSED A CAR ACCIDENT I HAVE THANKED THE LORD THAT I WAS RUNNING A LITTLE LATER THAN I WANTED. I SEE THAT I WAS SPARED BEING INVOLVED IN THAT CRASH. HERE IS THE ONE YOU DON'T NOTICE OR PAY ATTENTION TO...WHEN YOU DRIVE ALL DAY LONG AND YOU SEE NO ACCIDENTS, PERHAPS YOU CAME AHEAD OF THEM??? MAYBE YOU WILL NOTICE IF IT IS ON THE NEWS AND YOU JUST CAME THROUGH BEFORE IT HAPPENED. EVERY DAY THAT YOU THINK IS JUST ANOTHER DAY GIVE THANKS FOR THAT DAY. GOD WATCHED OVER YOU IN SPITE OF YOURSELF.
GOD WILL HELP YOU IN ALL OF THE DAY TO DAY THINGS IN LIFE. SOMETIMES YOU FEEL THE NEED TO SAY SOMETHING OR WRITE SOMETHING UNKIND OR NEGATIVE AND YOU GET THIS "STOP," ALSO REFERRED TO AS A "CHECK IN YOUR SPIRIT." THAT IS THE LORD HELPING YOU TO NOT SAY SOMETHING YOU WILL REGRET. IF YOU IGNORE THAT YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE SOME REGRETS.
THE LORD WANTS TO BE THERE FOR YOU IN EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE THAT YOU FACE. HE IS THE ONE THAT CAN GIVE YOU PEACE THAT PASSESS ALL UNDERSTANDING. THAT IS A PEACE AND CALM WHEN THERE ARE STORMS ABOUT YOU.BE SECURE IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THE LORD WILL BE ALL THAT YOU NEED HIM TO BE TO A SINCERE HEART. REMEMBER...GOD LOVES YOU. BE BLESSED!

ACKNOWLEDGE GOD'S LOVE FOR YOU DAILY

THERE ARE BENEFITS TO YOU WHEN YOU ACKNOWLEDGE GOD'S LOVE FOR YOU DAILY. WHAT MIGHT THOSE BE? HOW DO I GO ABOUT ACKNOWLEDGING GOD'S LOVE FOR ME? WELL, IT IS PRETTY EASY ACTUALLY. IT IS GOOD TO DO IT WHEN YOU FIRST GET UP IN THE MORNING OR WHEN YOU GO TO BED AT NIGHT. ANYTIME WORKS FINE BUT IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN THEN WHENEVER YOU PRAY, THAT'S A GREAT TIME TO DO IT. SOME OF US ONLY PRAY WHEN WE WANT A "FAVOR" FROM GOD BUT MOST OF US THAT ARE CHRISTIANS SPEND SOME TIME THANKING HIM FOR ALL HE DOES IN OUR LIVES AND FOR LOVING US. LET'S GET BACK TO THE ACKNOWLEDGING PART. WHAT I SAY TO THE LORD IS, " I ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR AMAZING LOVE FOR ME." THERE, THAT WAS EASY WASN'T IT? NOW THIS IS GREAT FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT AREN'T SURE THAT GOD REALLY LOVES YOU OR HE ONLY LOVES YOU WHEN YOUR PERFECT BUT THEN YOU WILL NEVER BE PERFECT AND THERE IS NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE THAT SAYS HE WILL ONLY LOVE PERFECT PEOPLE AND THAT IS WHERE JESUS COMES IN ANYWAY. OK, GOT THAT PART OUT OF THE WAY. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS FOR US WHEN WE ACKNOWLEDGE GOD'S LOVE FOR US?
1. YOU WILL BEGIN TO BELIEVE IT MORE AND MORE.
2. YOU WILL HAVE GREATER SELF-ESTEEM (SINCE THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE LOVES ME, I AM OFF TO A GOOD START IN LIFE. )
3. YOU WILL BEGIN TO LOVE THE LORD MORE THAN EVER BEFORE
4. YOU WILL HAVE A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM

SO YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD...HE STILL LOVES YOU. MAYBE THAT IS GOOD NEWS TO YOU,I HOPE SO. MAYBE THIS REVELATION MAKES YOU MAD BECAUSE YOU SAY YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD SO DON'T GO TELLING ME THAT SOMEONE I DON'T BELIEVE IN LOVES ME!! WELL, SORRY I WILL STILL TELL YOU THE TRUTH AS THE BIBLE STATES IT...FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD,( INSERT YOUR NAME), THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, THAT WHOSOEVER SHALL BELIEVE IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE(IN HEAVEN). EVERYONE HAS ETERNAL LIFE... WHERE WILL YOU SPEND YOUR ETERNITY? NOW DON'T GET ANGRY BECAUSE I TELL YOU THIS. DON'T GO THROUGH LIFE WITH A HARD HEART. MAKE GOD PROVE TO YOU THAT HE EXIST BUT TO DO THIS YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SINCERE HEART. IN OTHER WORDS DESIRING AND WILLING TO RECEIVE THE TRUTH. GOD LOVES YOU ENOUGH TO LET YOU KNOW HE IS REAL. HOW WILL HE DO IT? I DO NOT KNOW BUT HE WILL USE SOMETHING UNIQUE TO YOU. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT SO HE WILL REACH YOU IN HIS WAY THAT CONNECTS TO YOU. HE KNOWS ALL ABOUT YOU BECAUSE HE CREATED YOU AND PLANNED YOU EVEN IF YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER DIDN'T.GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW YOU ARE NOT A MISTAKE AND HE LOVES YOU. BE BLESSED!

THE LOVING KINDNESS OF GOD

GOD IS FULL OF LOVING KINDNESS TOWARDS US. IS IT ONLY WHEN WE ARE PERFECT? NO. I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU. THERE IS ONLY ONE THAT HAS BEEN PERFECT AND HE DIED FOR OUR SINS ON THE CROSS SO THAT LEAVES YOU AND ME OUT OF THE "PERFECT POOL". HOWEVER, WITH JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR THAT PUTS US BACK IN RIGHT STANDING WITH THE PERFECT ONE! ANYWAY, THIS IS ABOUT GOD'S LOVING KINDNESS...TOWARDS US. IN PSALMS 107:43, IT TELLS US THAT WHOEVER IS WISE WILL CONSIDER (THINK ABOUT, OR ACCEPT) THE LOVING KINDNESS OF THE LORD. DAILY THINK ABOUT, CONSIDER, ACCEPT THE LOVE AND LOVING KINDNESS OF THE LORD. IF YOU FOCUS ON THAT INSTEAD OF THE "DAILY GRIND", LIFE WILL BE SO MUCH BETTER FOR YOU. WHEN YOU BEGIN TO SEE GOD'S LOVING KINDNESS FOR YOU THEN YOU WILL BE MORE LIKELY TO TREAT PEOPLE WITH LOVING KINDNESS. IT DOES'NT COST YOU ANYTHING AND A LIFE FULL OF LOVE AND KINDNESS FROM THE "ONE WHO REIGNS ON HIGH" IS A PRETTY GOOD DEAL! GIVE IT A TRY. BE BLESSED!

LOOK AT GOD'S CREATIONS

LOOK AT GOD'S CREATIONS and then you can see another way that He shows His love for you. What do you mean by that statement? God could have created everything the same. He could have made all of the mountains the same, all of the clouds the same, all lakes, inlets, rivers,etc., the same. He could have made all species of animals the same. What a boring world that would have been! If He had made all people the same, you wouldn't look like you, you might look like me (or us). Yikes! He could have made us all the same. How tiring that would be for you to look at, day in and day out. BUT God loves us so much that He wanted to provide us with a variety of different things to see. Most of us enjoy looking at the sunset and the clouds in the sky and noting that it is never exactly the same. When you look at mountains of the world, they are all different. So much beauty in this world to behold. All of the flowers God provides and the different weather we have to keep from getting sick of the snow, rain, sunshine,wind, etc. God loves us and provides us with so many good gifts. Some people make the mistake of worshiping the creation instead of the Creator. ENJOY the creation and love the creator.Take a look around you and see the beauty of what God has made and know it is His gift to you. Enjoy it and your days will be much better. Then talk to him and let Him know that you appreciate it all. He is THE Great Artist! Be BLESSED.

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE??

IS IT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE? That is what some people think. Hard to believe that an Awsome God, the Creator of the universe, could know them And... care about and love them. Is that what you think? My purpose is to tell you that God does love you. Yes, you. Does he love what you do? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If you don't have a personal relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus, then he usually does not love what you do. However, He still loves you and wants you to know Him and converse with Him. He knows you all the way down to the dark secret in your soul. He loves you just the same. He is the one who can help you with that dark secret but He won't force Himself on you. You have to make the choice to invite Him and the way that you do that is by asking Jesus into your heart. Jesus is the pathway to God because he loved you enough to die for you on the cross so that the barrier of sin could no longer come between you and God the Father.This is what is called Good News! Start by reading the book of Mathew in the New Testament of the Bible. Be BLESSED!

Don't Believe the Lies About You

Words have been spoken about you that have been negative and for some reason it is so easy to remember those kinds of words. I can remember easily things that were said to me in my youth that were unkind but I sure have to work hard to remember the kind, positive, encouraging words that were spoken to me. Crazy as it seems, that is how most of our minds think. Some of us just don't imagine that God could think any thing good, kind, or wonderful about us. He wants us to know (through His word-the Bible) that he knows us intimately- better than we know ourselves and yet He thinks we are wonderful- maybe not our actions...but He loves us beyond all we could imagine or ever know until we see Him in heaven. Think about that. If you have never asked Jesus into your heart, this is a great time to do it. You have heard negative things about christians but it comes from those who haven't a clue as to what they are talking about when it comes to the things of God. Christians are not perfect but we have a relationship with The One Who Is. Get to know HIM. He would love to be your Savior and Lord and the personal relationship you were created to have always! God Hates Evil But God Loves You

Sometimes we get mixed up when we hear that God hates evil that we assume that He must hate us too. Well, we do wrong things often and some of us even do evil things sometimes with those intentions so we think that there is this old white haired man/god waiting to point the finger at us and say, "GUILTY!", with hate in his voice and looking forward to sending us to hell. Then maybe you think that if He is going to send you to hell anyway (and you think he hates you so you hate Him too) you might as well live your life doing bad things and try to enjoy them while you're at it. Yes God hates evil but here is the deal... He loves YOU. He loves us all so much that he sent Jesus to die on the cross for our evil doings so that we could be forgiven and have a personal relationship with Him. We just ask Jesus to forgive us and ask him into our heart. You are then on the road to heaven instead of hell. This is your opportunity to give your heart to and turn your life over to God; who by the way created you, me, the heavens / universe, and the very planet we live on. If you are involved in all kinds of illegal activity, and you want to get out of that lifestyle but you just don't see any way out because frankly that is all that you think you know ask the Lord to deliver you from all of those things; and He will!  None of your old life will fulfill you but Jesus will.   Do you know that God wants you to  amount to something/ someone great? Well, He does. God sees you through the eyes of Jesus                                                 and Jesus will be there for you...in the good times and in the bad and see you through to the end.
